ACCESS: Drive north of Durango on CR 240 (Florida Rd) for 14.5 mi. At Helen's Store, continue north for about 7 mi. on CR 243. After Lemon Reservoir, the road passes through 2 mi. of private land, then meets the E. Florida Rd. (FS Rd. #597). The Transfer Park and Florida Campground turnoff is on your left side at the 5th switchback. Parking is roadside.

DIRECTIONS: The trail (marked #663 on the SJNF Recreation Map) takes you through aspen and fir forests to Lost Lake, a small, shallow, very scenic lake, not stocked with fish.
