Candid shot on the set. Notice the 8x10 camera used to shoot the picture. This made these sessions quite slow, not to mention quite warm because of the hot lights.
Shot of the interior of the Santa Monica studio - Ceasar Romero is being prepped for a session for clothing. The camera is an 8x10 - the strobes used were huge, standing almost 6 ft. tall with quite a loud pop when fired - Still a big improvement over flash bulbs.
Ceasar Romero and Tom on location in BelAir - shot was for a car ad with Ceasar. You can tell the date if you know what year Triumph this is.
One of the candid shots taken on the set with Ms. Turner and Tom. You can see how lovely Ms. Turner was from this close-up. The ad from this session ran in most of the major magazines in 1944 and 1945. The client was a national soap manufacturer still around today.

Hedda Hopper - columnist- wrote about Hollywood. Here she is posing for an ad - Tom is directing her in the proper the expressions. You'll notice in the scene that still shots were done with the big kheig lights in those days. Shot around 1944.
