Having an event on your personal calendar doesn't
do much good if the event time or location changes
after you add the event. For events that really
matter, arrange to be notified in case something
changes.
Select one or more events on the calendar.
In the Other event actions
list, select Notify me of changes.
In the Event Actions
window, type your name and email address.
Click Set Notification.

By default, some calendars are set up so that you
can select only one event at a time. If you want
to select several events at once and add them to
your personal calendar or take other actions, you
can change that default setting.
Scroll to the bottom of the calendar.
Select Enable multiple event selection.
If you see a Mixed-in Calendars
list on the calendar page, or a color coded checklist
at the top of a calendar, you can use the list to
display and hide events by color-coded categories,
such as event type or location.
Select or clear the check box next to
a category of events to display or hide
those events.
If the list is large, the All
or None links below
the color-coded list might help you
display the events you want more quickly.

above the calendar, you can submit your own events
for publication on the calendar. We reserve the
right to review submissions before we publish events.

the one in this picture.

When scheduled calendar email is enabled, you can
add yourself to the distribution list to receive
regularly scheduled calendar updates.
On the calendar, click Subscribe.
When scheduled email is enabled, a Subscribe
to email section appears at the
top of the subscription options. Enter
your email address in the box, and then
click Subscribe to Email.
If scheduled email is not enabled, you can subscribe
to the calendar in these other ways:
On the Subscribe page,
click the RSS or XML
button.
If you use Safari, the feed displays
right in the browser.
If you use Internet Explorer or Firefox
and click one of the buttons, the code
shows for your calendar, and you can copy/paste
the URL into your news reader.
Firefox may not be able to display
the Atom feed. If that's the case, you
can get the URL from the RSS feed, and
after you paste the URL into your reader,
replace .rss with .xml.
What are RSS and Atom feeds?
RSS and Atom are types of XML code used to feed
ever-changing news or other data to you. You view
and subscribe to feeds from a program called an
RSS or news reader or aggregator. In your reader,
you can collect the feeds from the sites you're
interested in, so you can keep up-to-date without
having to remember where the sites are or navigate
all over the Web to get the information.
Tip Programs that
read RSS or Atom feeds are available free on the
Web. To find out about a few of them, you might
start by searching the Web for "rss reader."
Many feed readers treat RSS and Atom feeds the
same way. However, Atom feeds use XML namespaces,
which help in developing applications with web syndication
feeds. For a brief overview of the differences,
try the Atom Compared to RSS 2.0 section of the Atom page
in the Wikipedia.
