May 30, 2008 – The music schedule for Who’s Your Daddy, a street party and fundraiser or all ages to benefit The Children’s Museum of Durango/Discovery Museum at the Powerhouse is announced today.  The city stage will be set up on 11th Avenue next to Alpine Bank.

“Our volunteer coordinator and member of the local band The Lounge Chair Kings, Eric Nordstrom, has put together an extraordinary line up of local talent,” said Briggen Wrinkle, event coordinator.  “This year Who’s Your Daddy is hosting the Ride the Rockies participants too.  That means we will have more than 4,000 out of towners enjoying the event, so really wanted to have a variety of music and show off local talent.”

This event will feature free live music, fine food and beverages from Carver Brewing Co., Cucina Linda, Zia Taqueria, Domino’s Pizza and Lost Dog as well as 2 blocks of games, crafts, and activities for the whole family. Activities include the jumping castle, mirco golf, dunk tank, wet zone, Father’s Day gift making, Sudden Science Demonstrations and so much more.

This is a free event, with all profits from tickets sold for refreshments/activities going to the continuing operations of the Children’s Museum of Durango and the renovation of the old riverside power plant into the future Discovery Museum at the Powerhouse (both a 5013c non profit).
