Waterline Replacement at the Santa Rita Pedestrian Bridge
The City of Durango has contracted with McCollum's Excavating to replace the waterline on the Santa Rita Pedestrian Bridge and to complete modifications to the bridge decking.

Durango, CO - The City of Durango has contracted with McCollum's Excavating to replace the waterline on the Santa Rita Pedestrian Bridge and to complete modifications to the bridge decking.   Work on the project began on Monday, April 14th and should be complete by Friday, May 30. 

Beginning Monday, April 21st, the Santa Rita Pedestrian Bridge will be fully closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for three to four weeks to perform both the decking modification and replacement of the waterline on the bridge.  The bridge shall be open to full traffic between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. during this period, and shall remain open on the weekends.

Trail users are requested to follow all traffic control signs and barricades.
