Music in the Mountains Tickets On Sale April 7
Tickets for all Music in the Mountains concerts and events are on sale beginning Monday, April 7. The 22nd Festival season runs from July 11 through August 3. The summer lineup of 41 concerts in Durango and Pagosa Springs includes:

Tickets for all Music in the Mountains concerts and events are on sale beginning Monday, April 7. The 22nd Festival season runs from July 11 through August 3. The summer lineup of 41 concerts in Durango and Pagosa Springs includes:
  • Festival Orchestra, Chamber Music and performances by Conservatory faculty and young artists.
  • Two nontraditional special events featuring Celtic fiddle legend Eileen Ivers and Latin jazz ensemble The Mambo Kings at BootJack Ranch and Durango Mountain Resort.
  • Opening benefit events featuring Philippe Quint and David Korevaar at BootJack Ranch in Pagosa Springs and Indian Shadow in La Plata Canyon.
  • Pops concerts led by Carl Topilow at BootJack Ranch and Durango Mountain Resort.
  • Ten free concerts, including Family Festivos in Durango and Pagosa Springs.

     Ticket prices for Festival Orchestra and Chamber Music concerts range from $6 for children 12 and under to $60, depending on venue and seat location. Conservatory Music in the Mountains faculty concert tickets are $6 and $18, and Conservatory young artists' concert tickets are $6 and $12. Nontraditional concerts with Eileen Ivers and the Mambo Kings are $35 and $45 each. Tickets for the Opening Benefit concert and reception at Pagosa Springs are $175 per person and for the Opening Benefit Gala dinner and concert in Durango are $200 per person, with tables of eight available. Tickets for the Pops Night Benefit concert and dinner in Durango are $150 per person, with tables of 10 available.
 
     Bus transportation to all 7 p.m. concerts at Durango Mountain Resort is available this season. Buses leave the First National Bank parking lot at 6 p.m. and return immediately following the concerts. Bus passes for $15 must be purchased when purchasing concert tickets.
 
Tickets for all concerts in Durango except benefit events may be purchased in person, by mail or online. They are available through any of the following outlets:
  • Through the Festival Web site at www.musicinthemountains.com or through tix.com.  Convenience charges may apply.
  • At the Festival office at 1063 Main in downtown Durango, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., either by phone at (970) 385-6820 or by mail at P.O. Box 3751, Durango, CO  83102.
  • At the Community Concert Hall box office at 707 ½ Main in Durango or by phone at (970) 247-7657.
  • For benefit events and multiple tickets, contact the Festival office.
     Tickets for concerts in Pagosa Springs may be purchased either by visiting the Pagosa Springs Area Chamber of Commerce at 402 San Juan, by mail through the Chamber office, Pagosa Springs, CO, 81147, or by calling (970) 264-2360 or (800) 252-2204.  These tickets also may be purchased online through www.musicinthemountains.com or tix.com.
