DURANGO, Colo. – Open Shutter Gallery will host a lecture on the life and work of Henri Cartier-Bresson presented by art historian Marilee Jantzer-White, Ph.D. Fri., July 25, 5 to 9p.m.

Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908–2004) is known worldwide for capturing the “decisive moment” in his classic street photography. His technique and precise eye for design has had a profound and far-reaching influence on generations of photographers.
