DURANGO, Colo. – With reconstruction of the suspension bridge linking the Animas River Trail to the Crestview area completed Fri., July 18, the Swinging Bridge has now reopened. The bridge was closed in early June to replace the wood elements, including the decking and railing.
a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on July 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the Swinging Bridge entrance in Riverfront Park, to celebrate the completion of the project. The community is invited.
