From 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21^st, there will be a reception for the winners of this year’s Creativity Festivity writing contest, The Writer’s Eye. Local students in kindergarten through 12^th grade will be on hand, reading their award-winning poems, essays and short stories, created in response to visual pieces selected by art specialists from Durango public schools. Maria’s Bookshop will also serve as a gallery space for student artwork submitted to Creativity Festivity throughout the month of April.
