The City of Durango and San Juan Basin Recycling Association are pleased to sponsor this year's first Computer & Electronics Recycling event.
Unwanted electronics will be collected for recycling on Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th from 9am-3pm at the Durango Recycle Center, located at 710 Tech Center Drive. Residents, businesses, government agencies and schools are invited to participate.
The cost for disposal ranges from $15-$25 for televisions and monitors to $5 for CPU's, scanners and fax machines. Large office equipment will cost $0.25 per pound. Other miscellaneous items including keyboards, mice, power cords and cell phones will be collected free of charge. Those bringing large volumes are asked to call 375-4831 to schedule an appointment and bring a detailed inventory list to the event. |
