BAYFIELD, Colo. - Bayfield’s Heritage Days, a three-day event this year, will take place on Sept. 12-14.
Events include an evening of Western storytelling and entertainment on Friday night. Saturday features a fun run at 8 a.m. and the Heritage Parade at 10 a.m., plus on-going festivities throughout the weekend in Joe Stephenson Park. Planned activities include a Husqvarna chainsaw extravaganza, historical tours in horse-drawn wagons operated by the Four Corners Draft Horse and Carriage Society, music, beer tent, food booths, vendors in the park and on Mill Street, and a firefighters’ muster, which features friendly competition between teams from the Upper Pine and Los Pinos fire districts. Cowboy Church is set for 9 a.m. Sunday in Eagle Park.
